Bean-pole Schoolboys is an ensemble who presents their productions on stilts. The ensemble consists of four puppeteers. They rejoice the audience with giant puppets, a lot of musical instruments, cunning rhymes and huge gestures. Their performances feed upon the traditions of fairground puppet shows.
The Puppet Theatre of Mancsi Fabók: The land of immortality
The protagonist of this tale is driven by the following question: Does the land of immortality exist? Finally the hero finds the desired land, but is immortality as good as it sounds?

János Pályi: Lazlo the Brave
Lazlo the Brave is a traditional fairground puppet performance. Lazlo is a cheerful guy who teaches a lesson with his frying pan to the devils and even to Death. This bouncing glove puppetry show is overtaken by interactive market specimens and spectacles. János Pályi is one of Hungary’s most famous ‘Lazlo the Brave’ pupeteers.
